esxcfg-route
- VMware ESX VMkernel IP stack default route Management Tool
SYNOPSIS
esxcfg-route [OPTIONS] [<network> <gateway>] | [ default <gateway>]
DESCRIPTION
esxcfg-route provides an interface to manipulate VMkernel IP stack's default route entry.
OPTIONS
- gateway
-
The IP address or the host name of the machine that should be set as the gateway for the VMkernel IP stack.
- -a -add
-
Add route to the VMkernel IP stack. Requires network and gaeway IP address.
- -d -del
-
Delete route from VMkernel IP stack. Requires network.
- -f -family V4/V6
-
IP address family to work on. Defaults to V4.
- -l -list
-
List configured routes for VMkernel.
- -r -restore
-
Restore route settings from persistent storage. This should be used only on system startup and should not be used by users.
- -h -help
-
Print a help message for this command.
